Incognito stared at the newcomers with a cold look. First the boy now two others. He hoped he knew what his master was doing by letting two other strangers into their ranks. Especially since one of still had a weapon on them. He kept a watchful eye on that one. Annoyed at the other boy's whining, he yelled, "Boy! Quit your whining or I'll give you something to whine about!" He spat at the boy, and went up to the young newcomer.
"I'll be watching you. Don't try anything funny now"

Her long ears twitched, the little flames coming uncomfortably close. The heat felt strange when the rest of her body felt so cold.
"I... " She looked back at him, unwavering. "What you say is true. We've given no offer of assured safety afterword... And I doubt our words are of any worth anyway..." Alexandra sighed. "And the only other offering I could possibly give..." She trailed off, the idea turning her cold. It was unlikely he'd ask to keep her as insurance, but it was the only thing she could think of that might be of equal value.
Her head started to pound, the demonic aura finally settling in on her system. It made her nauseous.

The Eternal watched her face, he could tell something was bothering her, that something was eating away at her, but he had no idea what. "What is it that you could give?" he asked, the small balls of flame slowly getting closer and closer to the bound elf's head.
"What is it that you could possibly give me that I would want little elf?" he asked, his voice stern as he stood up, looming over her, his big frame easily dwarfing that of the little girl.

She stared back at him, her eyes narrow. "What is the life of a vanir priestess to you?" Her lips curled in a sarcastic smile, her sharp canines only adding to the appearance piece of darkness flashing in her. "Only else I could possibly give is my life, as insurance, as a promise. But its your gauge of worth that matters at this point."
Her gaze softened, the smile fading. "So what do you want in exchange?"

The Eternal smiled inwardly, now he had something to work with. With the girl under his control he could use her as leverage against his foes. "What is it that you want me to do young elf? What do you and your friends need from me?"

"I already told you that. Help us retrieve and destroy the book." Alexandra snorted. "You didn't answer my question."

The Eternal stood up, walking around the girl slowly. Drendil stopped behind the girl, leaning down near her ear, his hands resting on the back of the wooden chair. "Here are my terms," finally setting on a plan. "You will stay here after the war is done, as a guest. Before we leave to claim this tome, I shall have my men craft some trinket that shall bind you to me. This way," he continued, his voice falling to a whisper, "Should I be killed, so shall you." Pulling away from the elf he stood up straight, "And in return I shall do what you and your friends need me to do." The warrior stood silently, waiting for the bound girls response.

Alexandra closed her eyes, tilting her head away from him, running her tongue along the inside of her teeth.
"You want me to stay permanently after this is all said and done...?" She breathed, feeling even sicker. This place would kill her; the aura was already making her head pound.

The Eternal laughed deeply at her discomfort. "Keeping you here, trapped within a cave is a waste of your talent. No, you shall be able to go about freely, but I shall call you to me when I have need of you, and with this soon to be trinket it shall keep you from ever rising against me and trying to usurp me or stand take up arms against me." She would have her uses in the future, especially against his foes.

Alexandra genuinely laughed. This had to be a joke. "I never had any desire to work against you. I'm a healer, not a fighter. This-" she stopped mid-sentence. Ira wouldn't have called her to this if she didn't make a way... But the mother goddess was not known to always spare her daughters if the greater good depended on it.
"I..." She thought of her home, of this world, of Hiro, of Luvaran. These people didn't need any more blood shed. Lives had already been taken on this crusade. Why not hers too? "I agree to these terms..."

"Child, you are indeed young. You may have no intentions of attacking me. But your friend, the wolf boy, he has other plans I am sure of it. You care about him and your healing powers would be quite an asset to him should me and him do battle, this way, you shall not be able to help him. You are simply a way to keep him under control. He shall not rise up against me if I have you." The Eternal paused, before continuing letting what he had said sink in. "I may include some other enchantments on this trinket of yours," he finished.

She looked at him funny, tipping her head to one side. This being tied down thing was getting to be very frustrating. "What else? Thats not part of the deal."

With his massive wings it didn't take long to land hard against the ground of the Southern Continent. He'd tasted this dry and lifeless air before...
He continued his journey on foot until he reached the city they had been headed towards. He saw the battle outside raging, and decided to keep his distance. Although, he knew his intentions were clear. He didn't try to enter the city - he knew he didn't have to. Instead, he lay down slightly on his side and kept his head lifted looking at the city.
He stared motionless towards the city, his blood-red eyes intent on waiting for whatever it was. To put his message across, he loosed a Hellfire that ripped through the sand and earth and tore a line through the demons assaulting the city before slamming into the barrier erected.
Then he waited, basking in the heat.

Fen stuck his tongue out at Incognito, not caring what Drendil's minion said.
"Drendil needs to hurry! The demons are coming and I wanna kill them! Stupid empty sun..." the boy muttered.
The boy continued to figit, anticipating all the fun and violence that was to come.

The Eternal felt the cave shake at the Dragons attack. "What the hell," he muttered. Shaking his head he quickly moved to done his armor once more, his already big form now looked truly massive. "We shall talk later elf," he growled as he made his way to the oak doors. Yanking one open the wooden door he stepped out into the hall, his guards stumbling to get out of his way. Something within him snapped at the site Fen completely ignoring his guards orders. Turning to one of the blade wielding guards he said angrily to him, "Get in there and untie the girl." The guard, pale faced was quick to obey. "You," he said, his temper rising. "Get the hell out of my halls and go to where I ordered you to go, and if I hear a word of complaint from you insubordinate fool," he said, now yelling at Fen, his voice echoing through the stone halls, "I shall rip the you apart piece by piece and feed your scraps to my Dragon!" Storming down the hall way his Anger far from sated he yelled to a near by guard, "Where is Hiro! If he is not in the throne room when I get there someone is going to die!" The two near by guards stumbled down the hall way breaking into a sprint to the entrance of the citadel itself were Hiro was waiting. The two pale faced guards arrived, bathed in a a cold layer of sweat, "Sir, I would suggest you follow us to the throne room," siad one of them, trying to lead him to the great arced doors that were the entrance to the throne room.
