Drendil was beginning to get irritated now. To many irritating people where beginning to congregate around his city.
Turning to two of his personal guard he ordered, "Grab the girl and take her within the keep, to one of our guest rooms, I want her under constant watch. No one comes in and out without my say so. Take guards, and Warlocks with you," he commanded. Then almost as if it where an after thought he added, "And find someone to patch her up while your at it."
Within moment moments some of his men had grabbed the fallen girl, and where taking her up to one of the hundreds of rooms within the citadel.
Turning irritably back to the boy he walked down the steps, the rest of his guard following suit. "Take me to this man boy, maybe you'll get something to eat out of it," he said chuckling slightly. It was a empty sound.

Alexandra slumped back to the ground when he let go of her. After he finished giving the order, she was scooped up off the ground and carried away. The girl was only dimly aware that she was being taken someplace else, and she felt Hiro's magic reach for her.
"Hiro..." She mumbled, twisting a little in the guard's arms.
They took her to a small sparse room, laid her down, and one stood as sentry at her door. The other left to seek out one of the available healers. Alexandra lay motionless the entire time the guard was gone, her body aching. They can covered a long distance in an incredibly short amount of time. Thinking anything less than total exhaustion would be simply a joke. The guard soon returned with a medic. The lanky, bi-focaled fellow raised an eyebrow when he was let in her room and saw the elven woman. He scowled, closing the door behind him and the guard.
"I work with demons and all sorts of other dark folk..." He muttered, looking her over, pulling back sleeves and boots and collars for injury. "Having me work on faeries or elves or angels or what have you is a joke..." The medic untied her sash, making to take away her weapons and get all injury. Alexandra gasped and jerked away, her fans wrapped up in the crook of her arm and her whole body crouched into a fetal position.
"Not.. "She wheezed. "An elf... You can't..." With surprising strength the medic pushed her back down and took away her sash with the dragon sword and her fans with it.
"frick if I care." He glowered, handing the weapons to the guard, who stood tense behind him. "You need medical attention. So here I am." Alexandra put a hand over his bony callused one and touched with her healing power.
"I.. can..." She whispered, fighting the urge to pass out once again.
"Not in that state." He tore his hand away and put it on her face. "Sleep!" Alexandra tensed under the magic, and could fight no more. She fell asleep. The medic sighed, pulling his hand away and went back to tending to her wounds. He traced healing fire over her skin, and pressed his palm to her bruises. They faded away quickly under the pressure of his magic. The guard hovered about him, watchign carefully. Tobias, the medic, swung his head around to face the guard, irritated. "Go get some clean clothes, water, and a towel. She's filthy." He then went back to work. The guard pursed his lips, not liking commands, but did as asked.
Not very long later, Alexandra lay under covers, asleep, wearing a few spare clothes one of the female warlocks was able to part with. As one last parting help, Tobias touched his fingers to her pale forehead and poured some of his energy into her, then he left. As soon as the door closed behind him, the elven girl's eyes fluttered, now completely repaired and mostly recharged. The haze had cleared from her mind.
"Where-?" She sat up, looking around. It took a moment for the memories to pour back into her. The gate. Drendil. Tobias. She held her head in her hands, frustrated at herself for being so out of her mind. Alexandra pushed back the covers and slipped her feet into a pair of wide banded sandles left for her. For a 'necro' city, they certainly remembered details. She tried the door. It was locked. "Hey..."
"You're under guard until his lordship decides otherwise..." One of her guards grunted through the door. Alexandra nodded, vaguely remembering that, though the man couldn't see her.

Fen nodded pleased to see Drendil was not as deaf as he seemed at times. And paid more attention to the boy than he let on. How thoughtful and considerate he must be to know that Fen was hungry. Then again.. Fen was always hungry. But he hadn't mentioned it. Oh well!
"He's over here!" said the boy excitedly as he began to walk briskly towards the barrier.
The glowing symbols continued to glow and shift, the dragon and wolf were close together, but the hollow loop was beginning to expand. It was nearly at their door step.
The roar of minds began to grow louder as they got closer to the barrier.
"Kill! Kill! Glory for the Void! Sirigoth will reign supreme!"
The boy sprinted towards the barrier and began to run towards the new comer. He couldn't let him get all the killing!
His blades rushed forwards towards the wolfy guy, barely going past him and impaling the nearby demons.

As the blades rushed passed Hiro turned to see demons beginning to converge upon the gates.
"Damn they're everywhere!" cursed the young man.
With a wave of his hand a flaming wolf tackled a demon and exploded, killing more.
He turned back to where the blades came from and saw a boy, with chains attached to his back, a mane of black hair and gray eyes.
Something inside him stirred when he saw this boy... He had a dark air about him, no matter how innocent he may look.
"We are Hiro and Tempest, Chief of the Northern Tribes and War Lord of the Fir Bhlg. We are here to see Drendil so that we may discuss a way to end the invasion of the Void. Our friend Alex is here as well, an elf woman. We would like to see her safe as well," spoke the wolf and man. He knew Drendil was coming, and he spoke loud enough so that he wouldn't have to repeat himself. Time was of the essence and there was no time to waste.

Drendil stood watching as the Demons launched yet anouther attack upon his city. It ate away at him that his forces and he had been forced back so much. Within moments he was before Hiro, mere feet away from him. The boy looked different from last time, more canine. The young chieftain had clearly been through hell and back, he looked battered and bloodied, although little of it looked to be his own. But that was the way most of the world would be. The Demons had hit everywhere his Warlocks had said. They had been ruthless, and currently a great battle was being fought between the two Lords Sirigoth and Zephius. But there were more important matters, closer to home than the blood feud between the two. He had a horde of demons on his front door step. The Eternal turned his attention back to the battered figure before him. "You may enter, so long as you discard your weapons first, and hand them over to the guards. They shall be returned to you when you leave. And if that Wolf of yours is anywhere around I want him left near my Dragon." The Eternal paused for a moment, searching for a reaction. Then continuing, "You shall be escorted to my throne room, where I shall come to you when the situation allows." Turning around he motioned the highest ranked soldier nearest to him. "Hold his weapons, and bring them to my chamber guard once you have them. Keep archers and Warlocks around him as he makes his way through the city. I want to be able to kill him within a moments notice should the situation call for it. If he does anything but walk calmly through the city, fill him with arrows." The guard nodded, walking toward where Hiro would enter, calling out instructions as he moved. As Drendil began to walk toward the citadel he called out telepathically to Incognito, "Please welcome our guest." Until he was ready, the Demon would deal with him.
A few minutes later Drendil stood outside the room where the captured Alex had been brought. Behind him stood four of his person guard. Two Warlocks, and two swordsman. The Eternal paused outside the room, thinking of what needed to be done. He would not kill the girl for now, there was no reason, but after he was through with her, maybe he would dispose of her. The wooden doors creaked open as the Eternal entered the room, his tall and dark form filling the doorway. Ignoring the girl at first he entered the room and pulled one of the wooden arm chairs in the room into the center, and motioned for her to sit down in it. The Two swordsman who had accompanied him stood on either side of the door, his Warlocks stood on either side of the room, their dark forms almost melding in with the many shadows of the room. Standing by a desk that sat against one of the rooms walls the Eternal looked at the weapons that had been stripped from the girl. The fans looked to be of little interest, but the sword however seemed to be of fine quality and felt as if it had magical qualities to it. Picking up the blade the Eternal spun it around, feeling it's weight and quality. It was much lighter than the blade that hung at his side. Even in this much small form the blade was still much heavier than the girls. Once the girl was seated, his Warlocks had been instructed to bind her magically to the chair. Then the interrogations would begin. If she cooperated, she would be fine. If not, then he would deal with her.

Alexandra propped herself up on her elbows when she heard the door unlock and open. She smiled, but it faded away when she saw his accompaniment. She sighed at his motion of the chair, but it was understandable how one such as he would have little faith in her. She sat up slowly and took her seat. Right away the two warlocks bound her wrists behind the chair and her ankles to the feet of the chair. Alexandra flinched, the wood rough on her skin.

Still eying the blade he listened to the girl being bound. "Leave us, wait for me in the hall" he said to the guards, motioning them away. Looking curiously at each other the four made their way to the door. Slipping through the doors quietly the Eternal waited for them to exit. Placing the girls blade back on the desk he made his way to the bed, stripping off some of his thick armor he wore his black shirt and pants. As he did he looked at the girl from the corner of his eyes. From her position she could not seem him, she could see nothing but the oak doors from which his guards had left. Moving toward the chair he kicked it around so she was facing the bed. Sitting down lazily, he watched the girls face for any hidden hint.

Alexandra watched his entourage leave, biting her lip. Him wanting them to leave meant one thing to her- he was going to do something to her he didn't really want them to see. Either that meant he was going to be very nice, or very very mean. She turned her head to look at him, just as he went to kick her chair. Alexandra whipped around to face him.
"Uhhn-" She squeaked in surprise, tensing. After her chair settled, she stared at him, studying his face with curiosity and silence.

Fen, after enjoying a good blood bath with the demons, followed Drendil back toward the city. The fluffy could follow behind.
The markings on his hand were still glowing, but it seemed that the empty circle had grown larger than when he last checked. He pouted silently.
Stupid demons, trying to take away his goal. HE was the Bad Wolf, not them! "It's not fair!" he whined out loud.
Then he noticed the shiny objects that the guards had: Fans and a sword, being given to Drendil.
They must belong to the elf girl. He decided to call her Alexandra. Or Alex. Maybe Pixie.
He decided if he wanted to keep the demons from ending the world and taking all of his fun he had better catch up to Drendil, who seemed to be with Pixie.
The guards were told to leave, as if Drendil had a secret.... OH MAYBE HE WOULD SURPRISE FEN WITH A PUPPY!
Excited, the boy rather past the guards to join the conversation... Only to find the door closed with the guards standing in the hallway.
Their lips didn't move, but Fen knew they didn't want him to try and enter. Normally he would have killed them and done as he pleased without s second thought... But Fen didn't want to ruin the surprise. Especially if it was in fact a puppy.

Hiro nodded and began to glow, separating himself from the wolf, who trondled over towards the black dragon. He unstrapped his belt, as instructed and placed it at the warlock's feet, warning the guards not to touch it for their own safety; anyone who touched it would most likely lose function in their hand as wind cut at it and lightning ran through their bodies.
His claw however, he wasn't sure if he could take off. He had never tried, never wanted to. It felt to him as if it WERE his forearm and hand. Plus he felt the connection to Lunas as he wore it.
He looked at the claw, trying to figure out how he would go about taking it off. He asked Lunas inside himself whose response only seemed to be, "You're not getting rid of me pup! Us wolves stick together."
The lunas had a point. While it was Drendil's city he had no reason to trust him. This would be his small assurance.
"I cannot remove my claw," he told the guards, "but I give you my word as Chief of the Northern Tribes and Leader of the Fir Bhlg that I will not use it unless forced to."
Still, he was worried about Alex, she hadn't had much rest and the amount of energy she expended on the way over must have left her very tired.
His mind reached out to her, "Alex... Are you okay?"
His thoughts were quickly interrupted as he heard the odd boy whine, "It's not fair!"
He studied the child, and watched as his face seemed sad and annoyed before lighting back up excitedly as he ran down the hall.
The world had become a strange place indeed.

Dax lay around lazily watching events unfold. With one eye open he watched the glowing wolf trundle over to him. Reaching out with his mind the Dragon asked, "Who are you?"
Drendil lay there, watching the girl's face, trying to discern her intentions. "Why are you here girl? What is it that you want from me?" he asked, green flames now hopping from finger to finger.
Outside the room Drendil's personal guard eyed the boy and young man down the hall. The warriors stood, their hands on the handles of their weapons, and the Warlocks stood, magic words on their lips, waiting for the pair to do something. The higher ranked of the group, a man of average build with battle scars marking his face bearded face spoke out. "You were ordered to wait in the Throne Room Hiro, I was there when my Lord decreed it. And you, boy," pointing to Fen, "You should go with him, neither of you should be here."

Alexandra watched the flame bounce. Tip to tip to tip...
"I..." She trailed off, closing her eyes. "I'm here to find you. To implore you to help us retrieve the book..." Hiro touched her mind, distracting her. She wasn't sure how to respond to him, so continued with Drendil.
"The book of Forlyn lays within the void. We need to retrieve it and destroy it, so this assault on the world will cease..." She bit her lip, opening her eyes.
"We need your help..."

Drendil watched her eyes as five tiny balls of flame jumped from his finger tips and circled around her slowly. "You need my help do you? Well as you can see I have my own problems to deal with," his voice deep and filling the room. "If I was to help you, I'd need to leave my city which would spell it's doom at this point. I am all that keeps these people together. They are afraid, and rightfully so. So if I am to help you, what will be in it for me? My services do not come free, especially to those who on any other day would like to see me fall," he finished, trailing off, his piercing eyes locked on her own.

She stared, searching for an answer to his question. His statements though, confused her.
"I have no intention of deseating you... Though I'm guessing thats otherwise for my companion...." She looked away, starign at the door, her eyes far away.
"But... What would you want in return for your 'services'?"

"Think of it from my point of view," the balls of flame hovering just behind her head, buzzing quietly. "I am being asked to join a group of people who have no reason to want me to live, and one in specific among your group, young Hiro, would probably just fine with me falling in the void, eliminating me as a threat. I know about him becoming a Warlord, his "rise to power" in the north has little concern to me. But as I am sure you can appreciate, what reason do I have to believe that once all is said and done you wont all turn on me?" Now sitting upright he leaned forward, his face close to her own, "I need assurances that I wont be the next target," he said, his voice even, his face as ever a blank mask.
