Within the first few days of the initial assault on Ira the Demonic forces had made their way to Aelb's gates. The city was the Angel's only access to Ira and as a result it was heavily fortified.
Standing at the back of his army the Demon Lord watched his forces array themselves before the massive stone walls. He could sense great magic warding the city, keeping it safe from the Demonic forces. A silent specter swept up behind Sirigoth. Taking one more look at it he turned and walked away. As he passed the cloaked form he muttered angrily, "Tear it down." Within moments the cloaked figure had vanished and was among his subordinates. A massive force of dark wizards made their way to the fore front of the forces. Some put into place strong wards to protect themselves while the others began to cast dark powerful magic. Minutes latter the assault began. All kinds of magic smashed into the invisible barrier that had protected Aelb for so long. Powered by the dark magic of the book the Demonic forces would soon have it torn down and the Demon's would flood into the town.

King Mileo had donned on his armor and grouped his forces together, but the assault had happened too fast. His men were doing their best to hold the gate and prevent the siege. At this moment his mortal men were simply not equipped enough to handle the level of assault brought on by the foul demon lord.
But today blessed the human King. His Lord Zephius was here, ready to vanquish the demonic infection.
The radiant light flowed from his curls and bright eyes, his wings shimmered elegantly and his smile seemed to cheer all the men.
Even the small demon who got in his majesty's way seemed to almost say "Thaaaaaaaaaaaank yoooooouuuu!!!!!" When his radiant aura burned him to oblivion....
Though for some reason a member of the Lord's honor guard seemed to think the demon might have said something obscene.
"Mileo my son, fear not for I am here!" echoed the Angel Lord's voice.
"My lord!" said the mortal, bowing before his lord, "Sirigoth is here!"
The angel lord only smiled. "Of course, obviously he is here to surrender this long war to me!"
"But my lord! The demons are at our gates! We lost too many men in the Northern War to be able to fend off this level of assault!" A soldier ran in to the throne room, bloodied and battered, "The Demon Lord is attacking!" yelled the man. "The Demon what?" asked Zephius.
The man, already pale from what may be blood loss, turned even more pale from the great presence of his one true King of Kings.
"Go peacefully my son," said THE Lord, to the man as he was destroyed by his aura.
"Now then, where is this demonic diplomat?" asked Zephius.
"Milord, scouts report that Hiro and his companions are coming to fight-"
"Do not speak that hateful name in front of me," said the Great Lord, his muscles stinging with divine rage and sting from the encounter of the one youth who had been lucky, and disturbed enough to manage to so much as scratch the amazing flesh of the holy one.
"My apologies," said the king.
"Now then, let us speak to my dear Sirigoth."

Sirigoth stood patiently watching his dark forces attack Aelb. With the Angels banished from this world, he would be unstoppable. His cloak fluttering in the wind he looked around at the destruction his forces had created. As far as the eye could see the world lay dieing. Scorched earth a vacancy of life were all that greet the people of this realm. He was unstoppable. The Druid was dead, the boy couldn't hope to win against this many people, and Zephius had yet to arrive, and even if he did, the pair were equal in strength, but the Lord of all Demons had an army that had not been seen since ancient times, and was not dragged down by morals, or any sense of self righteousness. He knew what he wanted, he made no pretenses, Zephius lacked the fierce presence that commanded respect, so he ruled through lies and schemes. Soon he would not only be dead, but before he passed the Demon lord vowed to expose him to the Angels lesser creatures, for the very ungodly like being he was. The lord of the void drifted back to old times, back to his other fights with the foolish Angel. A little while later his forces smashed the barrier apart and swarmed the city, like a black wave they crashed down on the city, killing and destroying everything in it's path. Smiling wickedly Sirigoth made his way down the hill. It appeared Zephius had arrived. "Finally this will be interesting," he muttered.

Demons shrieked and burned in Zephius's glorious glowing presence, and he could only smile as his unwanted children died aching for his love.
His glorious wings lifted his body as he gracefully moved through the air towards Sirigoth, the poor creature who did all this just for a moment of Zephius's attention. Thankfully, there was no great father like Zephius, and he knew how to quell his neglected child's tantrum, as well as how to punish him for his mistakes. He would appear, and administer the punishment himself, giving him both the reward of his presence and the punishment of his palm.
"Sirigoth, you really did not need such theatrics if you wished to catch my attention, a simple message under the white flag would have done just as well. Tell me Lost One, what mischievous deeds are you committing in my world?" sang the Angel Lord, his voice carrying proudly from across the field.

Sirigoth smiled crookedly. Willing him self up he floated up to the same level as Zephius. "Arrogant as ever I see false god. It's been how many thousands of years now?" he said, his voice carrying above the sounds of the battle. Down bellow him his Demonic horde had stopped moving, and watching up at their Lord, and the enemy leader, both two titans who seemed to be about to engaged. In the back of his mind Sirigoth could feel his forces being attacked, he was well aware of the tiny gnats that seemed to be trying to attack his forces. Yes they had killed many, however what they seemed to forget his core forces were with him, and while they had killed thousands of his minions there were still millions more raging throughout the world. His purple cloak fluttered behind the Demon Lord easily. "I'm going to kill this little wretch," he thought to himself.

(continued from Chaos in the Void)
The echoes of both titan's energies seemed to almost charge the air. The dancing Vanir started to invoke the spell needed for her change, holding it ready. Arion moved swiftly but alone below her, and she could feel Hiro in the air close behind.
She spotted the pair of titans and shuddered, misstepping in the air. It was strange, the yin and yang ahead. The leader of the Angels, radiant, beautiful, and the leader of the Demons, absent of light, almost nightmarish in his armor. She came to a stop as the demons below her did, listening to the two speak.
"Sirigoth, you really did not need such theatrics if you wished to catch my attention, a simple message under the white flag would have done just as well. Tell me Lost One, what mischievous deeds are you committing in my world?" The Angel 's voice rolled over her, musical, familiar, like the voices of the elder vanir priests.
"Arrogant as ever I see false god. It's been how many thousands of years now?" The Demon lord's statment puzzled her, but only for a moment. She looked down at Arion. He needed to get into the air now if he was going to assist both her and Hiro. A sense fo dread finally washed over her, the realization that odds were truely against them.

Hiro shuddered as he approached the two titans and hoped to the spirits of Ira that his two great enemies would not decide to dispatch him first. It was clear that there would be a fight and Hiro could only hope that Zephius would see the logic of destroying the demonic forces before continuing the grudge match. A storm was brewing, the wolf and youth could feel it.
He sent a message to his commanders to avoid Aelb, that they were to continue to defend the Northern Continent and shift their way to the Druids Keep. Should Ira fall, it would be the best place for them to defend.
"Alex.... This is going to get rough. Zephius and Sirigoth are here. I suggest we stay back and watch what happens, there is no way we can take on both of them... and they both hate me. Whoever is victorious will be fairly weak, perhaps we can push them back, but we'll need to strike fast and with everything we have... Even then trust me when I say that without more people we can only hope to push them back. A killing blow is not an option."

Zephius's forces were already beginning to fight the demonic horde to secure the mighty city blessed by the most glorious of Gods.
The angel lord himself approached the demon lord, smiling for in all his wisdom he knew that he would not need to gain complete victory over the demon lord. The pest Hiro was near by with his friends, and even he could not resist fulfilling Zephius's wishes. Yes, even the blasphemous warrior shaman in all his heresy felt the love of the great god deep down to protect the Angel Lord's land for him. After all, Zephius had spared the youth for a reason.
"Sirgoth, you fiend, I shall give you my attention, accept it with grace and die with love for me in your heart!"
The angel lord drew his spear and shield and with blinding speed drew near the demon lord to pierce his heart with the radiant weapon.

Alexandra nodded, but didn't tear her gaze away from the pair. She gritted her teeth and waited, hanging in the air with Hiro.
"Wouldn't it be better to just assist the Angel though? They're clearly not out to destroy your home..."

The Demon Lord smirked, Zephius was strong but he was clearly not very war savvy, it was a wonder how the last war had lasted so long. Bringing his shield before him shifted to the left a little, the tip of Zephius's spear tip bounced off the shield harmlessly. In one fluid motion he drew his blade, spinning around mid air, his one sided curved blade slashing in behind the now exposed Zephius. His wicked blade cut like a blur through the air.
Down within the ranks of demons Sirigoth's mighty army the powerful Warlock watched up at his master display of skill. It had been many thousands of years since he had seen a fight like this. It would be interesting to watch to say the least. Grinning out from beneath his hood he watched on.

Hiro thought for a moment about joining Zephius in the fight as Alex suggested, but somehow he knew he would only make it a three way brawl. Niether would join him and Zephius would not distinguish friend from foe. Then the wolfen youth smelled a familoar stink. The warlock who had fought luvaran and himself when he traveled to the void. Even if sirigoth was defeated they would have him to deal with. . "It appears we have another foe to face."

Zephius moved in gracefull agilitym his strong hand grasping his trusty shield as he spun, and the magic of Gods trusted tool deflected the demons blade. The edge of his spear shined as bright as the Lord's smile and sent out shards of powerful light to blind and sear the demon

Alexandra stretched and flicked her fans open and closed. Waiting was simply building up the anticipation. She didn't like that he hadn't answered her question and then made no sense.
"What do you mean?" She looked out across the sea of demons. No one seemed to really stand out to her in the crowd.

Sirigoth screamed in response the blinding light searing his eyes. The combination of his magic warding ring and armor prevented any actual damage, but the light threw him off balance. In an instant his mind cleared. The Demon lord lashed out with searing flames. Also he dropped in the air a bit to put some distance. As he moved his blurred vision was already begining to clear. Sword and shield in hand he readied himself for Zephius's response.

Hiro hit himself on the head softly realizing how new the the world Alex was. "My vendetta with Zephius goes back further than his attempted invasion. When I first met the others I had just turned down a twisted alliance with Aelb. Afterwards angels began to hunt us. In order to stop this I brashly infiltrated Paradise and picked a fight with Zephius. I barely escaped but his pride was no doubt bruised. If I join the fray he won't distinguish friend from foe. In a battle of two titans a fly stands little chance." Hiro sighed for a moment, while his youthful act had gaineed him a lot of renown it had also made him deadly enemies. "As for Sirigoth, Luvaran and I once confronted him and that didn't turn out well either. But we have other things to worry about, Luvaran had a nemesis who lead us to the void. Sirigoth's right hand. He is near and we would be wise to remove him now."
