Satyrs 120 years
Racial bonuses: Agility. +1 to any intelligence, throw voice
Satyrs, are typically fun, carefree creatures who live in the woods.
The upper half of their body is human aside from the goat horns, but their legs are those of a goat.
They live in mountains and woods, often times dealing with wood elves. They can be tricksters, but very rarely are malevolent. They just want to enjoy life as much as possible.
Dwarves 180 max lifespan :
Cannot be mages. +1 to magic defense. +1 toughness +1strength
Honestly, if you don’t know dwarves should you really be on this board?
Dwarves are stout, strong and stubborn. They resemble humans aside from being a couple feet shorter. All male dwarves have beards. They tend to worship Helsing, God of Victory. They are proud, loyal and their bravery is matched only by their thirst for ale. They have a tendency to hate their shadowy cousins the dark dwarves, think humans are fools and elves are frolicky, pompous and arrogant. Satyrs however, are great fun to party with. Their cities are carved in to mountains and breathtaking sites. They are masterful smiths.
High Elf/Moon Elf 300 max lifespan
: Agility, +1 to one intelligence score. Night vision
High Elves live in cities near forests. They have an intense respect for magic and law. They tend to be a little arrogant, due to their longevity. They represent the nobility of the elven folk.
Dark Elf 300 max lifespan (Drow)
: Night vision. Agility, +1 to one intelligence score
Cunning, ruthless, and violent. They worship Morralain, Goddess of Chaos and War. They live underground and tend to have no leaders, preferring to revel in utter chaos. They tend to stay secluded to their cities, except when raiding for loot, and sacrifices. They have a slight respect for dark dwarves who tend to worship the same Goddess.
Wood Elves 220 max lifespan :
agility, +1 to wisdom. nature communication
Wood elves, or common elves live in the forests, often time including a couple satyr in their villages. They are not as high strung as High Elves, and tend to focus on nature. Many of them worship the Goddess of the Hunt.
Half Elves 150 tops :
agility, charismatic +1 to one ability stat
Half elves are half human, half elf. Some choose to live in the city, others prefer to follow their elven roots. They tend to be enigmatic, and other races tend to either love or hate them. Their foreign charm does them well often, but many high elves, and human nobility tend to feel disdain for them.
Humans 100 years max :
You can choose two plus 1 stat bonuses and 1 of the following abilities (charismatic, agility, throw voice, violent persuasion)
Humans are well.. humans. They live in cities, sometimes choosing to mingle with other races. They are seen as dangerous and unpredictable to other races, and sometimes looked down upon. Typically they are dealt with on a case by case basis.
Half Orc 100 max lifespan :
+1 strength, +1 toughness, violent persusion.
Half orcs are half human, half orc. How a human managed to survive breeding with an orc is often times a mystery, and they are congratulated on the feat as often as they are shunned. Sometimes in the same sentence.
Half orcs are not as violent as their full blooded orc brethren, but are still impatient and brash. Many of them find work as mercenaries, and as as respected as they are feared, even if they are seen as abominations by some.
Orcs 100 years max :
+1 strength, +1 toughness. Berserk rage, allows them to shrug off and not feel some blows to a certain degree.
Sometimes called greenskins, the orcs are a proud and violent tribal race. They tend to live in nomadic packs lead by a war leader. They are numerous, and mighty, but they cannot resist a fight. Were they able to exercise self control, they would no doubt take over all of Ira. Thankfully, they can’t resist bashing skulls with one another long enough to finish their take over. Most other races avoid them, not wanting to get on their bad side. Few are foolish enough to insult an orc to their face, at least not in a way they would understand...
