"Say no more," says the drunkard as he pockets the gold. "I know a man with the softest lips in Doronhal"

Launching across the table Dogrim grabbed the bum my the scruff of his shirt and hoisted him up. "Where I come from a comment like that could get a man such as yer self killed," growled the Dwarf. "Now, I'm an enlightened fella, not like me kin. So I'll be given ya another chance," he said, eyes narrowed at the man, dropping him to his feet once more. "Go a fetch me a man who can get another man out of this city with some discretion. I'll add some more gold to your pile if ye can be quick and subtle about it." Sitting back down and sipping his ale the Dwarf eyed the man angrily. He would not be having such a slight like that again.

"Easy friend," said the drunkark, "ye weren't excatamaly spercific about whatcha wanted there."
The drunk tries to unruffle his clothes, but in his inebriated state ends up making them worse.
"I can find ya someone," he says, "ye just wait here."
The drunkard left and a few minutes later came back with a large muscly man with lipstick and tight clothing. His bulging pectoral muscles covered in what appeared to be glitter.
"So," he says in feminine voice, "I hear you're in need of some of my services." The muscle man offers a pearly smile and extends his hand.
"My name is Clarence."

The Dwarf eyed the new man warily. "This had better not be what I think it is," thought the Dwarf. If it were, then there would be two more dead men tonight, his honor would demand no less. Hand resting comfortably on his last throwing ax the Dwarf sized up the glittered man. "Shouldn't be to difficult," he thought to himself. "Let me be clear here friend, i am looking for someone to get me out of the city quickly, quietly, and discretely. Seems I've been making some not so good friends in the last few hours." Pausing, he took a good chug of his ale with his free hand. "If yer able to be providing such a service, I'd be more than happy to be paying ya. Also, if yer in need of weapons or armor I am quite a good blacksmith," he said now turning to the bum who'd made a move on him ealier. "However if yer here for the same reason this fella is, making moves on meself and such, I'll warn yer ta move along."

The man giggled slightly "I love a dwarf who knows what he wants. I'll tell you what sugar, give me 100gold now and meet me in the backalley in 5 minutes. We'll tall about services there."

Grumbling the Dwarf rose to his feet, contemplating smashing this new man’s nose in and leaving him bloodied on the floor. So tempting was the idea that he began to reach for the stool next to him thinking to break it over the man’s head before smashing his face in. But then after a quick breath he settled down and realized that was probably counterproductive. "At least see what he wants," he thought to himself. "I'll be giving yer 40 gold now and 80 after you provide me with the services I'm looking for," declared the Dwarf, tossing 40 gold coins on the table before heading out the back door. There would be no room for discussion; he was beginning to think he'd just fight his way out the front gates. Or head-butt a section of wall until it crumbled, either one was fine with him.

The man giggles, and ten minutes later shows up in the back alley way with a bright pink cloak.
"Put this on," he tells the dwarf, "it will keep you hidden."

"WHAT!?" roared the Dwarf his anger rising to almost uncontrollable levels. "I should tear you limb from limb!" growled Dogrim, his face flushed with pure rage and his eyes taking on that glint they took when he was about to kill someone. "I..I should just..!" he babbled not able to form real sentences as he poked his finger at the muscled mans chest. Pulling back he glared angrily at the sparkling man. Whipping out his flask he took a quick swig of the potent Dwarven brew to calm himself. Pocketing the flask and snatching the cloak from the strange man he grumbled nonsense under his breath. "This had better work or you'll be finding that yer smug grin will be knocked clear off of your face,"he growled. As the rage dissipated and the drink cooled his temper the Dwarf tried to smooth things over, realizing he needed this mans help. "Listen, there be an extra hundred gold in it for ya if yer able to be getting my armor back from the inn I was staying in. I wont be asking any questions, just that I'd be liking it back," he said as he swirled the pink cloak on. The Dwarf was very, very close to going berserk and just fighting his way out.

The man smiled, "Ooh I do love a fiesty dwarf but keep it down sweety. We don't want anyone catching us being naughty do we?" The man winked and continued "so long as you remain in that cloak only I can see you. As far as your equipment goes I've already taken the deliberty of having of brought outside. Once we escape and we finish our transaction I'll tell you where to find it."

The Dwarf bristled at the mans tone. "I yer know what good for ya you'll shut yer mouth," growled Dogrim. He'd had enough of this damn city. Stupid kids tried to mug him, he'd defended himself and was now labeled a pedophile. He'd warned the guards to back away but they didn't and now he was wanted fro destruction of property and murder he supposed. Now between this man and the bum he'd met before his was quickly running out of patience. He just wanted to be out of the city and put the experience behind him. After all he'd only wanted a drink or three. "Let be going then. Lead the way."

The feminine man leads Dogrim out the back alley. As they enter the alley way a man in decadent purple robes steps out of the shadows. He has an oiled back mustache and his hair is slicked back. He wears a variety of rings on his fingers as well as a ruby pendant with a gold chain.
"Well hello there Francis," says the man.
"Mayor," the feminine man responds curtly.
"You wouldn't happen to have heard about the captain have you? By the looks of things he won't be around much longer."
"That's terrible," says Francis.
"Oh sure, the one man who would have brought me and my connections down may very well die, so terrible," says the governor as he rolls his eyes, "Anyways I'm sure you have plenty of things to take care of. Do be careful though, they say there is a mad dwarf on the loose."
"Will do Governor," says Francis.
"Oh and Francis," says the Governor as Francis leads Dogrim away, "If you happen to see our stout friend... Tell him thank you."
As he mutters his last words Dogrim can be almost certain the governor is looking straight at him. The governor walks in to the tavern.
"This way," says Francis, leading the dwarf the the city exit.

Dogrim grunted in response, following the man who he now knew as Francis. As he passed the Mayor the Dwarf very briefly pulled down the hood of the cloak and winked in the Mayors direction. Being in the Mayors good side could be useful later on. As the pair approached the massive front gates to the city the Dwarf put his hands on his weapons nervously. Never one to trust magic fully, knowing it to be a fickle power on the best of days he would be ready to charge straight through the group of guards at the front. "I'm placing a lot of faith in you Francis," murmured the Dwarf, his voice low enough for just the pair to hear. It looked like the guards would be having enough trouble the growing crowd of angry citizens massing at the gates. It was early morning, and time to get to work. But the blockade was preventing many from doing so. It was a volatile situation at best.

Francis leads Dogrim into another alley way and taps on a brick while whispering something. A hidden door pops open and Francis leads the dwarf through into a dark hallway. As they walk through Francis whispers, "Don't get any ideas," as he leads the dwarf through.
The rest of the trek is silent. It appears Dogrim has at last learned to trust Francis. Or at least quit complaining about his methods every 2 minutes.
While this was obviously the first sign of love, Francis knew it could never work out, and actually started to feel bad about leading the dwarf on. Oh well.
Finally after a good twenty minutes of twists and turns the two made it to a dead end
"Here we are," says Francis, " end of the line. I'll be needing my cloak and payment before I let you go of course. Once you pay me and return my cloak I'll open the way and tell you where to find your armor. The way should be clear of guards."

Standing at the end of the tunnel the Dwarf glanced at the wooden door in front of him. Happily tearing off the pink cloak and handing it to the strange man it dawned for the first time on the Dwarf that this whole thing could be a trap. “Bah, well if it is, I’ll be sure to be taking that one down first,” he thought to himself. “You’re a weird one but effective I’ll be giving ya that,” said the Dwarf, dropping a bag of gold coins into the mans outstretched hand. “How will I be getting in touch with ya I’m ever needing yer services again?” asked Dogrim, watching the man carefully.

Francis pockets the bag of gold quickly and produces a small pebble for the dwarf. "Whisper my name in this stone and you will receive directions on how to contact me or someone in my network," he says. With a snap of his fingers a doorway opened up revealing the woods outside the city. "Head north for a quarter mile and you will find a cabin. There you will find your gear as well as some provisions to last you a couple of days. Rest at the cabin for a day if you'd like but no longer. I try to keep a nice turn over rate."
